  4.     A large number of readers have asked what TIME does to help
  5. recycle paper. All paper waste from  TIME's printing presses is
  6. reclaimed, as is trim from the binderies. Unsold newsstand copies
  7. of the magazine are returned to the wholesaler for recycling. The
  8. magazine cannot be printed on recycled paper because quality coated
  9. paper is necessary for the best reproduction of four-color
  10. photographs and legible type.
